Students have access to various campus Learning Resource Centres, which have PCs and Macs equipped with the latest software.

Each campus at WCUC is equipped with specialist resources to suit the course taught. For example, the Chippenham Campus has an award-winning film production studio and control room, Mac suites, music recording and production studio, editing suites, dual monitor games development suite, engineering workshops, CAD equipment and software, electronic, robotic, and mechatronic facilities, and a motorsport workshop. The Lackham Campus has a real working farm for dairy, beef, sheep, pigs, and arable crops.

Why go to an open day?

When you attend an open day, you'll get a gut feeling about the university. Open days will help give you clarity if you're not sure what course to choose. You'll be able to visit different departments and chat with lecturers and other department staff, there are often subject talks too. You'll also get to speak to current students. They can tell you whether they're satisfied with the teaching, what the local nightlife is like, what the best halls of residence are – pretty much anything. Don't forget to look at the accommodation for yourself and make time to walk around the surrounding area to see if you like it.

Where is it located?

Wiltshire College and University Centre has four campuses in Wiltshire which include Trowbridge, Chippenham, Lackham in Lacock near Chippenham and Salisbury. Most students use the local public transport services to get to one of the four sites.

WCUC's motorsport engineering course is taught at a bespoke centre at Castle Combe racetrack.

Each campus town is home to cinemas, theatres and venues hosting regular events. The county of Wiltshire is also home to its fair share of popular landmarks and attractions. Sites like Stonehenge, Salisbury Cathedral and Longleat are well worth a visit.
