From the moment you enrol, you'll benefit from a free laptop (terms apply) or halls discount (or on-campus credit), funded study trips, free access to university sports and societies, free course resources, discounted gym and leisure activities, and an Office 365 subscription. Dedicated services offer support with the cost of living, and new initiatives and student support is shared with students through the uni’s weekly student newsletter, social media channels and on-campus promotions.
The University of Northampton has over 2,250 beds across a mix of traditional halls of residence or townhouses, on or off campus, with options to suit all tastes and budgets. Free Wi-Fi is available in halls, as well as shared kitchen and dining facilities, and a 24-hour security team. In accessible halls, several rooms are adapted for disabled students.
University of Northampton receives generous support from charities, partners and individuals, so it can offer a wide range of scholarships and bursaries. If you feel that you need additional support, the university can advise you which scholarships to apply for. To help you fulfil your potential, Northampton can assist with costs related to studying or give you an opportunity to travel outside the UK to enhance your studies and employability. Some funds are open to all students, such as the T D Lewis Scholarship and the Chancellor's Fund. Other awards are more specific, including scholarships for students from Northampton, mature students, and those studying STEM subjects.
