The University of Hertfordshire is in Hatfield, just 25 minutes by train from London's King's Cross station and within easy access of the A1(M). The university also has its own bus company, Uno, ensuring both campuses are well connected across Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and north London. The two campuses, College Lane and de Havilland, are located less than a kilometre apart and are connected by pathways, cycle routes, and a free shuttle bus.
Herts is a campus-based university with a diverse and vibrant community. Lots of events happen throughout the year. Recent events have included themed parties every Wednesday, trips to London museums and Windsor, and the Freshers' Fair. Herts Students' Union has over 100 societies, including everything from salsa dancing to LGBT+ and baking to K-pop. In Hatfield there are cafes, restaurants, pubs, and bars to explore. The surrounding Hertfordshire towns are easily accessible by bus, where you鈥檒l find historic pubs, chilled bars, and music venues. Students also have London just 25 minutes away by train, where they can experience all the capital has to offer.
