Wellbeing and mental health support

• A team of counsellors, all professionally trained and registered with the BACP, are available for appointments with all students.
• The university's wellbeing team has dedicated mental health advisors who provide additional support to students.

A range of scholarships and bursaries are on offer to those studying at St Mary's. Awards include:

• St Mary's Cares Bursary: worth £3,000, awarded to all UK care leavers who meet the criteria.
• St Mary's Bursary: worth £2,000 for Home-fee students with a household income of £15,000 per year, plus other requirements.
• Sports scholarships: worth up to £2,000.
• Sport Coaching Bursary: financial support for students aiming to gain coaching, officiating and other sports qualifications.
• Choral and Organ Scholarships: worth up to £2,000.
