GCU has two city-centre campuses in the heart of London and Glasgow – the UK and Scotland's cultural capitals. Glasgow is an affordable UK city with great cultural opportunities and easy access to outstanding countryside.

• Glasgow has a thriving music, pub and club scene which rivals that of any other major UK city.
• Live music is very popular. Glasgow's renowned music venues, from the OVO Hydro to the legendary Barrowlands, showcase an endless stream of musical talent.
• The city boasts a large number of theatres, museums and galleries, as well as being home to the Scottish opera, ballet and national orchestra.
• Like most cities Glasgow has many cinemas, including four multiplex and two independents. The largest is just a 2-minute walk from the campus.

• GCU's accessible city-centre campus is only a short work from accommodation, bus and train stations.
• The Glasgow subway (underground), and local train and bus services provide plenty of options for public transport.
• Two major railway stations serve the city. Edinburgh is less than an hour by train and London around 4.5 hours.
• Coaches go from Buchanan Street Bus Station (next door to the GCU campus) to most major UK cities and Glasgow Airport.
• Glasgow Airport, 8 miles to the west of the city, serves a number of international and domestic destinations.
• Under 22s who live in Scotland are eligible for free nationwide bus travel via the Young Persons' Free Bus Travel Scheme.
