How you learn

All our courses are designed around a set of key principles based on engaging you with the world, collaborating with others, challenging you to think in new ways, and providing you with a supportive environment in which you can thrive.

This course is vocational in its nature 鈥� designed to produce highly proficient RE teachers, passionate and fully prepared for full-time employment. You'll undertake 120 days of placement work across two school settings, providing vital experience of the realities of teaching, supported by a subject mentor in your school and a personal development tutor at the University. Underpinned, by extensive training through on-campus learning, activities and independent academic work.
