Become a materials specialist and tackle global challenges. Immerse yourself in exciting research with this MRes course.

From planes and batteries to hip implants and electronics, youll learn how to develop advanced materials for diverse applications. Well prepare you for an exciting career as a materials specialist in a range of industries.

Course Structure
This course consists of 180 credits distributed over 1 year. One third of the content consists of taught modules. Two thirds of the content is the individual research project, which is carried out in the summer.
