Course summary

This degree apprenticeship enables apprentices to become fully proficient as an embedded electronic design engineer.

Through our mix of on-the-job and classroom learning, you will learn exactly what it takes to excel in embedded electronic systems design and development. This programme will provide you with all the specific knowledge, skills and behaviours you need to succeed.

This programme enables you to combine paid work with study, so you gain industry experience as well as a degree. At the end of your studies, there is a formal independent end-point assessment.

Teaching

Learning takes place through a combination of timetabled learning and independent study.

Seminars and workshops enable you to discuss and develop your understanding of topics covered in lectures in smaller groups. You will also be able to meet your personal tutor. Timetabled learning may fall between 9am and 9pm depending on your courses and tutorials.

Assessment

Each course has formal assessments which count towards your grade. Some courses may also include 'practice' assignments, which help you monitor progress and do not count towards your final grade.
