What degree had you originally applied for and where? 

I was originally working a full-time job and hadn鈥檛 applied to university.

What is your degree, and where are you studying? 

I am studying Photography BA (Hons) at the University of Huddersfield.  

Why did you enter Clearing? 

I wasn鈥檛 happy in my full-time job, and I wanted to pursue Photography. So, I decided to apply through Clearing to the University of Huddersfield because this course was right for me. This was about a week or so before the course was due to start.    

What factors made you finally settle on the course you chose? 

I chose this course because it was largely based in the Barbara Hepworth building, and it has fantastic facilities. Also, because the amazing lecturers who would be able to give guidance throughout my time studying.  

Did you find a place to live easily? 

When I was looking on University of Huddersfield鈥檚 website, there was lots of information on student accommodation. However, as I live locally, I decided to commute in, instead.  

Have you enjoyed your course and time at uni?  

I鈥檓 very happy with my course, thanks to the amazing staff and the opportunity to create and work with a variety of different courses across the university. I really enjoy the collaboration aspect and working with my peers, as well as the freedom that university gives me, and the support that鈥檚 on hand whenever I need it.
