What are you studying and where? 

BA (Hons) Forensic Science at the University of Derby 

Why did you choose to go through Clearing?

I thought I was heading to Leeds, London, or Teesside to study Radiography.  Then I get my results and it was like, nope that鈥檚 not what I expected. 

When I didn鈥檛 get the results I needed to study Radiography, it was through Clearing that I found a course I hadn鈥檛 considered before. 

Why did you choose to study Forensic Science at the University of Derby?

I decided to choose a course that I had more passion for. After making one simple phone call, I got a call back the same day with an offer to study at Derby.

Did you attend any Clearing Open Days? 

I attended a Clearing Open Day and met the teaching team who showed me the impressive Crime Scene house. The amazing facilities set Derby apart and I know through talking to other students from elsewhere, that they don鈥檛 have facilities like this anywhere else. 

How did you enjoy your time at the University of Derby? 

I was an introvert before starting university, but Derby gave me the space to branch off in multiple directions. From singing in the gospel choir to watching, writing, and performing poetry, there was always a creative pathway for me to follow.
