What is your degree, and where are you studying?

I鈥檓 studying Business with Marketing at Anglia Ruskin University (ARU). 

What degree had you originally applied for and where?

I originally applied for Forensic Science at and deferred this for a year ARU. I took a gap year and this made me realise this course wasn鈥檛 what I wanted to do. I saw Clearing as an opportunity to change course and pursue a subject that I was passionate about. 

Why did you enter Clearing?

I realised I didn鈥檛 want to do the course I originally applied for, so I went through Clearing to change the course. 

What factors made you finally settle on the course you chose?

I liked that the course was business with marketing, as I had interest in marketing, but having business in there too meant I had a fallback option if I didn鈥檛 want to go down only the marketing route. 

Did you attend a Clearing open day and, if so, how was it?

I attended a normal open day when I applied for my first course, but I didn鈥檛 attend a Clearing-specific open day. 

Did you find a place to live easily?

There were a couple of rooms available due to spaces being released, so it worked out really easy for me. 

Have you enjoyed your course and time at uni?

Yes, I have. It鈥檚 allowed me to study the subject I wanted to, meet new friends and have new experiences.
