New independent research highlights the 鈥渉idden gem鈥� universities in Yorkshire and the Humber

As thousands of students and families prepare for UCAS application deadlines just after Christmas, new independent research released today (Wednesday, 14th December) reveals universities making up 鈥渁reas of excellence鈥� across the country - including two here in the Yorkshire and the Humber region.
The team behind the renowned Complete University 大象传媒 have crunched the data to shine a light on some of the universities blazing a trail in the Yorkshire and the Humber region, including those ranked amongst the best in the UK in some subjects. The message could not be clearer - 鈥測ou don鈥檛 have to go far to go far!鈥�.
With the cost-of-living putting increasing pressure on students and families, the new 鈥渁reas of excellence鈥� data highlights some excellent courses across Yorkshire and the Humber region, and across the UK more broadly, that they might not have considered.
The 鈥渁reas of excellence鈥� data for the Yorkshire and the Humber region reveals both Bradford and Hull Universities as 鈥渉idden gem鈥� destinations for any student wishing to study Forensic Sciences or Paramedic Sciences.
- Paramedic Science at Hull University came out top of the table - while they rank 7th for Forensic Science.
- Bradford University鈥檚 Forensic Science scored slightly higher, ranking 5th in the country, while they鈥檙e just 6 places behind Hull, ranking 7th for Paramedic Science.
