Course summary
- Undertake school-based training in two different school settings.
- Learn to plan and teach Citizenship across Key Stages 3 and 4 in active, creative ways needed to motivate pupils.
- Gain knowledge of schools and the education system.
- Participate in a field trip to explore approaches to teaching outside the classroom.
This course is professional and vocational in nature and has, as its primary aim, the development and supply of competent teachers who will be capable of securing employment in an education setting. Over 96% per cent of our PGCE graduates are teaching or in further study within six months of graduating.
