How you learnAll our courses are designed around a set of key principles based on engaging you with the world, collaborating with others, challenging you to think in new ways, and providing you with a supportive environment in which you can thrive.Based in the Sheffield Business School, you’ll join a global community where business leaders, researchers and business students all come together to solve problems and make things better. You’ll have the opportunity to spend a semester in Paris at IÉSEG School of Management during your first and second years, followed by a full year in Barcelona at IQS School of Management in your third year. You’ll gain first hand exposure to diverse cultural and business environments, deepening your understanding of French and Spanish culture and practices.This structured approach ensures you receive a comprehensive understanding of international business dynamics, equipping you with the knowledge and skills needed to excel in today's interconnected and dynamic global marketplace.Expert tutors bring current research into their modules by including insights from their own research and drawing on cutting-edge knowledge from the wider international business field. Key themesThe themes and learning materials on the course are selected to represent a diversity of global contexts and perspectives. Informed by contemporary academic research in international business, you’ll focus on the applied and practical issues organisations face, including the digital solutions they use.You’ll collaborate with business organisations and industry practitioners, equipping you with the skills you’ll need in the workplace.On several key modules, you’ll have opportunities to tailor your learning experience, including the flexibility to choose assessment tasks that align with your preferences and goals.The assessment is rooted in the real-world contexts faced by firms. There is a variety of assessment formats used such as written reports, essays, individual/group presentations, self-reflective tasks, exams, and in-class tests.
