About this course

On this course, you鈥檒l explore practical filmmaking and develop a range of skills to work professionally in the creative industries. Through group and individual projects, you鈥檒l pitch and create films to gain practical production knowledge in the fields of fiction, documentary and artist鈥檚 film.You鈥檒l be taught by industry professionals through workshops, lectures, tutorials, production meetings, screenings and reviews. You鈥檒l study film histories, directing actors, studio and location shooting, running a set, production, post-production workflows, lighting and cinematography, sound recording and design.Your final year will culminate in two large-scale film projects which provide material for your graduation portfolio and shape your career as a filmmaker.
