This is a four-year version of our popular BA (Hons) Fashion Design and Promotion course, with an integrated foundation year. Explore every aspect of fashion. Gain skills in, and an understanding of, fashion design, fashion promotion, and marketing. Launch your career in the growing and exciting fashion industry, with career paths including design, styling, promotion, marketing, manufacturing, visual merchandising, buying and selling.

Can鈥檛 decide between fashion design, and fashion promotion and marketing? You don鈥檛 have to 鈥� Fashion Design and Promotion is a course that gives you skills and crucial understanding in both areas.In fashion design you鈥檒l develop concepts, explore materials, design fabrics through to full fashion collections, and develop an understanding of the manufacturing processes. You鈥檒l gain all the skills you鈥檒l need to construct garments 鈥� such as pattern making, cutting, sewing, fabric printing, and craftsmanship 鈥� all while discovering new technologies.In the fashion promotion and marketing pathway, you鈥檒l consider the whole fashion market, analyse future trends, develop brands, learn the marketing mix, gain an understanding of visual merchandising, create promotional materials, and plan and manage events, including fashion shows. You鈥檒l learn graphic design, styling and photography, and will have access to our fashion journalism expertise.Throughout the course you鈥檒l be nurtured, supported, and developed by our expert team. They are on hand to guide you and help choose your preferred pathway. They have many years鈥� experience working and teaching in fashion, specialising in sustainability, garment construction, design, promotion and marketing. The course will prepare you to work in areas including: design, styling, promotion, marketing, manufacturing, visual merchandising, buying and selling.
