Course summary
This challenging, flexible and diverse programme offers specialisation in a humanities and social science subject, combined with a broad base in European history, law, philosophy and politics, and fluency in a European language. Year 3 is spent at a European partner university.Introductory modules in the first year allow you to develop your interests and gain a good understanding of an area of specialism. Your modules fall into three groupings: interdisciplinary core module taken by all students, language and culture modules, and a specialism in the humanities or social sciences.The interdisciplinary core module involves gaining insights into a range of academic disciplines and engaging critically with competing analytical perspectives.You will undertake language study throughout the programme, selecting and focusing on one language. Some students also select a second (minor) language to study in their first and second years.
