Course summary

Our Biomedical Engineering BEng course has been designed to train the next generation of biomedical engineers working in healthcare research and development. Upon completion you will go on to specialise in medical engineering, medical physics or apply for further study in Medicine.Key benefits- You’ll gain an excellent foundation in maths, physics, programming and biology which opens doors to many careers including clinical engineering, healthcare research or further study in medicine.- You’ll be taught by world-class academics and clinical researchers – King’s is an international leader in Medical Engineering education.- You’ll have access to fantastic state-of-the-art resources such as St. Thomas’ Hospital, which has its own MRI and PET facility that can be used in the later years of your degree.- The course is CEng accredited and fulfils the educational requirements for Chartered Engineer when presented with an accredited MSc.
