This course will run on the ARU Writtle campus.This comprehensive course is designed to provide you with a solid foundation in various disciplines related to animal science, enabling you to apply your skills across a wide range of fields.Throughout your studies, you will gain a deep understanding of biochemistry, microbiology, anatomy and physiology, health and disease, breeding and reproduction, nutrition, and behaviour. You will not only acquire practical and laboratory skills but also delve into the underlying biological principles of biochemistry, genetics, and animal growth alongside core subjects of behaviour and nutrition. Allowing you to develop a strong scientific understanding of animal biology and its implications for animal health, disease, growth, and development.By completing this programme, you will be well prepared to enter the professional field and make a positive impact on the lives of animals.
