Combine the practical and theoretical aspects of flying with the underlying principles of aerospace engineering on our Aerospace Engineering with Pilot Studies Foundation Entry degree course.Foundation Entry degree courses are designed for students who have the ability to study for a degree, but dont have the necessary formal qualifications to directly enter their chosen Honours degree programme.Gain the theoretical training required to obtain a pilots license while simultaneously gaining an engineering degree.The University has excellent aerospace facilities including a full motion simulator and several flight training devices, allowing you to benefit from the practical application of theories taught in the classroom. Configure them to aircraft types such as civil aircraft, helicopters and even the Space Shuttle.
