Course summary
Course description
This degree will provide you with a coherent selection of electrical and electronic engineering subjects to advanced level. Module combinations include communications and signal processing through control engineering to electrical machines and drives.
Teaching and learning
Teaching methods include lectures and seminars supported by practical and lab work. Assessment is a mix of open and closed exams and continuous assessment. Your dissertation will be assessed separately.
Careers and employability
You have the option of choosing to study this course 鈥榳ith industry鈥� in which a paid industrial placement forms part of your course, including your overall assessment through reflective learning. Whether or not you opt for the 鈥榳ith industry鈥� variant of the course, it is designed to give you the tools to work towards a career in a wide variety of fields in the engineering and technical industries.
